Oyama is a predominant farming community located between Wood Lake and the gorgeous jewel of the Okanagan, Kalmalka Lake. There are multiple options to live near or on Wood Lake in Winfield, including condo buildings surrounding popular Beasley Park. Beasley has a few soccer pitches, a playground, and a beach with access to Wood Lake. It’s a favourite pastime of local residents. Next to Beasley is the Wood Lake Campground. This campground has a boat launch, marina, and one of the most popular pubs in the Okanagan, Turtle Bay.
Just before the Lakes master-planned community, you’ll find another shopping area with even more food, dining, and professional service options. Winfield has a few mobile home parks available for affordable options, and a fair share of fixer-uppers perfect for renovations.
